The last September, 19th and 20th SafetyEXPO took place, at “Fiera di Bergamo”.
Tecsa supported it not only as a sponsor, but also as main actor of some interesting moments. In particular:
- the 2-hours Course “Fire Risk Assessment” (Agg. 81/08), held by the Executive Director of Tecsa, Eng. Luca Fiorentini on both the two dates;
- the 3-hours Seminar “The Modern Fire Safety Management System” (Agg. ex 818/84 and CFP), held by Eng. Luca Fiorentini and Eng. Rosario Sicari, coordinator of the forensic engineering division MFCforensic, on the 20th when they talked about BowTies, incident analysis and virtual reality for emergency training;
- the talk at the plenary session “70 years of fire prevention in the cultural heritage” held by Eng. Luca Fiorentini on the 19th, with a speech about “The Role of the Technical Consultancy in the penal proceeding in fire investigation”, presenting the Moncalieri’s Castle case study.
At our stand, it was possible to try the virtual reality for the emergency training (in collaboration with XVR Simulation) and better know our software products for risk analysis with BowTieXP by CGE Risk Management Solutions, the incident analysis with IncidentXP, the simulation of crowd exodus with Pedestrian Dynamics (in collaboration with InControl).
We were also happy to present the book “Principles of forensic engineering applied to industrial accidents” written by Luca Fiorentini and Luca Marmo (ed. Wiley), already available in pre-order.
They have been two intensive and rewarding days. We hope to see you again the next year at SafetyEXPO!
