The application introduces a Microsoft Excel-compatible spreadsheet in BowTieXP, which displays all the information in the file as tabular data within the spreadsheet. This allows you to use this data to perform calculations based on it and re-enter the results into the bow-tie model.
It also allows you to define additional variables to be used in calculations on the bow-te diagram itself. This feature gives you a lot of freedom to create what you really need. For example, you can calculate the average effectiveness of barriers, use the effectiveness score to colour barriers, create a financial model that lets you know what the cost reduction is for each barrier you add and much more.
