The preliminary risk analysis foreseen during the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) phase required the development of HAZID (Hazard Identification) activities in order to analyze the project in its specificities, identifying the hazards present due to the substances involved in the process and the peculiarity of the process itself, characterized by fluids operating at high temperature and pressure.
Hazid’s activities, included in a multidisciplinary analysis context, have been carried out with the PHAWorks RA Edition software tool developed by Primatech, in order to manage the worksheet used during the sessions and to facilitate the analysis with a systematic and organic approach.
The documentation was also complete with the Hazid Term of Reference document (containing the description of the methodology used) and with the final report containing both the worksheets completed during the sessions and the summary of the recommendations highlighted during the analysis.
