The document, conducted in accordance with the general guidelines of the Ministerial Decree of 9 May 2007 “Directives for the implementation of the engineering approach to fire safety”, analyses the fire conditions that may occur in a school building, in order to verify the safety of the occupants with respect to the fire scenarios and the fire resistance of the structures.
The document therefore consists of the study of possible fire scenarios, the verification of the maximum fire resistance of the structures (to be determined in relation to the characteristics of the structures and fire scenarios) and the analysis of the maximum escape time of the occupants, in order to identify any technical, organisational and managerial fire-fighting measures of an ameliorative type to be implemented to mitigate the fire risk of the building
