The document, conducted in accordance with the general guidelines of the Ministerial Decree of 9 May 2007 “Directives for the Implementation of the Engineering Approach to Fire Safety”, analyses the fire conditions that may occur in the industrial warehouses under study, in order to verify the safety of the occupants with respect to the fire scenarios and the fire resistance of the structures.
The document therefore consists of evaluating for each warehouse, on the basis of the maximum calculated fire loads and the fire resistance determined, the effects of a fully developed fire (in the post-flashover phase) in order to verify the external areas potentially affected by thermal radiation or residual heat with possible secondary effects.
These verifications were conducted with specific semi-cfd calculation codes (Panache-Panfire© by the company Fluydin©)
