In order to comply with regulatory requirements, the detailed design of fixed water / foam fire protection systems for tanks containing solvents was developed. The sizing of the systems was carried out in consideration of both the applicable technical standards (UNI EN 13565-2, UNI CEN / TS 14816) and based on the needs of system optimization, favouring the operational aspects.
In the 3D design, ESAin’s ESAPro software was used to define the layout and produce all the design drawings (P&IDs, 3D-dimensional model, sketches, list of materials).
The project was completed by preparing the specifications of all the components and drawing up a detailed metric calculation for the construction phase.
