In consideration of the revamping project of an existing facility and the characteristics of the new trigeneration equipment envisaged, an assessment was carried out in order to evaluate the overall sound power generated by the new plant in the existing plant context.
The acoustic impact modeling was carried out using the CadnaA tool developed by DATAKUSTIC: the characterization of the new equipment required the analysis of the respective datasheets in order to determine the associated acoustic power. Then the overall sound power was evaluated by the software, determining the mapping of the areas with equal noise.
