On the October 2019 issue of the Antincendio magazine published by EPC Editore there is an article entitled “Crowding in stadiums: the management of” soft “obstacles from impediment to opportunity” signed by Luca Fiorentini, Executive Director of TECSA Srl, and Maria Lappano , risk analyst in TECSA Srl.
Below is the abstract of the article: “This article takes its steps from a larger study conducted jointly by L. Fiorentini and M. Lappano, authors of this article, together with Ruggiero Lovreglio of Massey University (NZ) and Marlies Wouters of Incontrol Simulation Solutions (NL), using the calculation code Pedestrian Dynamics ©, and entitled “Crowd management and control. Case study for a stadium using Pedestrian Dynamics® software”, the results of which were presented in ambit of the third SFPE Europe Conference on Fire Safety Engineering which was held in Málaga, Spain, on 22 and 23 May 2019. ”
Luca Fiorentini is also Vice President of the Italian Association of Fire Engineering – SFPE Italy.
