A complete manual to know the fundamental elements, advantages and peculiarities of the Safety Management System (SGS). The most widespread norms, guidelines and standards but also the possibilities available to an organization to integrate different management systems (each one dedicated to an aspect such as health and safety, quality and environment) in order to optimize resources and standardize the approach to different problems.
The monograph also illustrates the main rules on safety, health and prevention of major accidents, which in certain cases require the mandatory adoption of a systemic approach to the management of safety issues (e.g. Safety Management System for the Prevention of Major Accidents and Fire Safety Management System).
